National and International Affiliations

SDO is affiliated with both national and international networks working for human rights, peace, justice and poverty eradication.

SDO is an active member of the following international networks:

Global Action Against Poverty (GCAP), alliance of trade unions, community groups, faith groups, women and youth organizations, NGOs and other campaigners working together across more than 100 national platforms, calling for action from the world's leaders to meet their promises to end poverty and inequality.

 

South Asia Alliance for Poverty Eradication (SAAPE), focuses on poverty eradication through policy research, advocacy, lobbying and campaigns.

ACTION Asia a network of individuals and organizations in Asia committed to action for conflict transformation through the sharing of skills, knowledge, experiences and resources.

 

Least Developed Countries (LDC) Watch envisages the building up of a strong network of LDC civil society out of national processes that will further engage in regional and international processes to advance the issues and concerns of the LDCs in the global development agenda.

 

Social Watch (SW), an international network informed by national citizens' groups aimed at following up the fulfillment of internationally agreed commitments on poverty eradication and equality.

 

Asian Disaster Reduction & Response Network (ADRRN), promotes coordination and collaboration among NGOs and other stakeholders for effective and efficient disaster reduction and response in the Asia.

SDO is an active member of the following national networks:

 

Agency Coordinating Body For Afghan Relief (ACBAR), an umbrella organization representing over hundred NGO members from the national and international humanitarian, reconstruction and development NGOs community in Afghanistan.

 

Afghan Civil Society Organizations Network for Peace (ACSONP), a national network of organizations working for peace, human rights and justice.
